Day Program We offer a nurse aide training program that consists of 160 hours. The hours are divided as follows: Classroom/Lab: 60 hours and Clinical: 100 hours. Clinical hours are conducted off site at a clinical site where students will get hands-on experience with real patients. This program is a comprehensive program dedicated to teaching students the fundamental aspects of patient care. Graduates of this program will be able to engage in the following practices: infection control practices, feeding residents, ADL care, vital signs, observing resident rights, feeding assistant etc. After successful completion of this course, students can expect to sit for the state exam to be a certified nursing assistant. Students can expect to work in the following settings: long term care facilities, assisted living facilities, hospital, hospice, and home health. CLASS SCHEDULE: Day Program: M-F 9 AM-3:30 PM 6 hours x 10 days = 60 hrs.
